Re: Old Lego

(...) Bill, Cellulose Acetate LEGO was made from the early 1950's until 1964, when ABS Plastic took over. Unfortunately it had a tendancy to warp, but a lot of decent pieces are still in existence.   Re: Favorite Star Wars Movie Stuff...

I always preferred the A-Wing in dogfighting for the Alliance. It doesn't have a large weapons array, but it's fast speed and super manueverability always kept me alive the longest. For the Imperial fleet I liked the TIE Defender the best. The (...) (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

What people will buy on ebay...

Here's a new one at ebay, selling information on where to buy the 8880 for under $125. Unforturately, DYA may be out of stock before the buyers can actually order them. (URL) (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Could Arctic windows = ATAT windows?

I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be the case. The MF is MUCH smaller than it should be, especially the cockpit. There's also a trans-antifreeze one in Mtron #6956. I really wish they'd make one in trans-green! Opaque blue and white would be great too. Dave Joel Hoornbeek <joel@webaccess.net> wrote in message news:FL1pwF.Bx5@lugnet.com... (...) there (...) (...) (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: What is pictured in the inset by the MF on page 8?

No, I think I figured it out. It is a hand. Ever see the CD Lego catalog in the Turbo Command set. This hand comes out and does the stuff to the models to show what it does. I think this hand had some kind of Borg looking contraption on it. The pic (...) (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)
