I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be the case.  The MF is MUCH
smaller than it should be, especially the cockpit.  I think it's reasonable
to assume the AT-AT will also be scaled down in this way.

Yep. They look like they're 4 studs wide, which is a bit too narrow. The • actual
width of the front viewscreen on the AT-AT should be roughly 8 feet wide • (give
or take a foot) which would be about 7 studs wide in minifig scale. Mine
AT-AT's viewscreen was 6 studs wide, and I think Shaun's was 8?

But it certainly has the right look to it! It might work for TLG (TLC • now!) if
they want to make a slightly scaled down version of the AT-AT for a set, • but
for the "real" thing, it's a bit too narrow.
