Re: Arctic is Town (was: Re: My Analysis of the 2000 Sets)

(...) Logically speaking, that conclusion doesn't follow.[1] Something being in 63xx-66xx means that it definitely is Town, but something not being 63xx-66xx doesn't necessarily mean that it's not Town. For example, 9 of the ~23 Ninja sets are in (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town, lugnet.admin.database)

Re: Halloween Candy - $5 lego coupon for 19c

It was posted here about the "Karnival Pops" cany for about $2 with a $5 Lego coupon in the package. Our local Zellers is trying desperately to get rid of these and they are now at 90% off, so you get them for 19c each! I just bought 10 packages, (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: shop at home news

(...) Well, it always seemed to me that Canadian S@H prices were a direct equivalent of US S@H prices, comparing them on the Lego Direct flyers that came in sets. So I don't see any difference there. There's no actual *import duty* on toys, so that (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  2000 catalog day stats

Here's some fun statistics for the BrickShelf site the first full day after the 2000 catalog was posted (11-09-99 EST). By far the highest day of activity ever for the site.   Re: Will Town Die in 2000?

  Re: Shoddy MF

Guys, I have been eagerly waiting on the next batch of star wars kits from TLG as much as anyone. I have taken my time and looked carefully at the 2000 catalog. While I agree that the MF may leave something to be desired in terms of detail and (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

What is pictured in the inset by the MF on page 8?

Regarding the MF and the 2000 catalog, I've taken a closeup view of the inset on page 8 next to the Millennium Falcon, but I can't make out what it is. Does anyone know what it's showing? Thanks, Steve (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Arctic

Don't know where to post, I'll try here. Now that I look at them again, I see lots of good reasons to get the Arctic sets. 1. Kenny! 2. Tank treads 3. Big blue walls 4. Polar bears 5. Orange! 6. Blue asteroid thingies 7. New skis! 8. Hoses 9. Big (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.town)

  Re: LEGO Chess Set

This chess set is cool! It looks a lot like the set in the newest Mania magazine (page 19) which is the best issue yet. Ditto, and least we not forget to slap on a few train doors(Model Team to the rescue?). At long last, I'll build my own 7725 without having to step into a time machine. Blue would be nice too but 7760 used a different window style didn't it? Adrian (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)
