  Re: propellors wanted cheap!

Don's some of these have the knurled face that mates with a 1/2 technic "nut"/bushing? Using that and some of the olderstyle nuts you can mount them rigidly to an axle although the thickness increases.. (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Bulkhead Flat

(...) I'd like to get the naming, MPDness, etc. right but... More importantly, to me anyway, I'm also interested in the most compact way of saying "this is my design, I hold the copyright, you're OK to build it, but commercial use is not permitted (...)   Re: 4x2ReVu: 5938 Oasis Ambush

Hi Joseph, This is not a criticism but a genuine question; what sets have you given an eight stud rating? I really like your reviews and always read them (in fact I save them in a seperate file). I noticed that even on the Adventurer sets you (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.reviews)

Re: Top Ten Toys on A&E

(...) Tim, I agree. Erector set, is definitely worth the top 10 list. It could be what inspired the LEGO Technic System. Gary Istok (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Categorizing uploaded robot images on legomindstorms.com

You may wish to consider a combination of a main hierarchical taxonomy (mobile->wheels->...) with tag keys for attributes (contains homebrew sensor). User may search both ways. Eric (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  BAYLIT suggestions

  Re: legOS-0.2.1

Hi Jeffrey, that's an OS issue - your host system should define O_ASYNC. Some older systems define FASYNC instead, try that one. You can work around this more elegantly, too: #ifndef O_ASYNC #define O_ASYNC FASYNC #endif And hope for the best. (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos, lugnet.robotics.rcx)
