  Re: possibilities - 4558, 4559, 2150 (2), etc

(...) <list snipped> I'm facing this myself. I'm moving in 3 weeks and I've spent over 8 hours packing up LEGO and I'm only about 1/2 done. On the bright side, I'll be getting a LARGE portion of the basement for my LEGO space. Rob +---...---+ | Rob (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: propellors wanted cheap!

(...) I remember scoring a whole bunch of the black ones from someone's Timeship bulk purchase--I too use them on aircraft. I only have one of the grey 7-stud two-blade segments; a good source for them is the Time Tunnelator/Time Machine promo pack (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Castle returns for 2000!

(...) It seems that TLG would be heading more towards the 14th/15th/16th centuries, and strongly into modern-day France and Italy, if they pursued a hat and armour configuration like that (or, in the case of the neo-Wench, the hair, eyes, and dress (...)   Re: stupid question

(...) ...and even more so because he's actually posting a new thread to ask how to post a new thread, rather silly when you stop to think about it. D'oh! LFB. (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.promo)

How to Post (was: "stupid question")

(...) To be fair, the original question should be answered here for the record. You must "drill down" to a specific newsgroup in order to post. (Choose from the list of links at the top of the page.) Once you are down in the hierarchy at least one (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.promo)

  Re: stupid question

(...) Wow, that's violating one of the core rules of behaviour for discussion groups. Here's what it sounds like to us: Hey, I can't figure this out, so I want one of you people to help me. Oh, but don't post it here, because my time is too valuable (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.promo)

  Re: Engine Speed Regulation

Well, James corrected me and he's right(1). The Throttle is a restrictor (if you look up throttle, one meaning is to cut off airflow) in the steamline. Restricting the flow reduces the pressure in the steam chest. However most valve gear (cf. (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.trains)

  Bulkhead Flat  [DAT]

Here's one more. MLCad is addicting! This is a bulkhead flat, used in the US for loads that don't need weather protection, but which are large enough or high enough that there is a danger of them shifting off the ends of the car, hence the end (...)   Re: idiot's guide to programming the rcx

(...) The almost universal answer to the question "what is the best/easiest alternative programming language for the RCX" is three little letters: "NQC."
