  Re: Your McDonalds sets

(...) There are 8 Lego and 1 Duplo. To see a list of what they are refer to Larry P.'s email from yesterday. To see pictures of the Lego ones see the order form in the S@H Fall catalog. It starts this coming Friday. I would offer to get people some, (...) (25 years ago, 27-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Lego Music Center -- Followup

You may remember several months ago a post about building a replica of a building for a music school in Littleton, MA: (URL) I volunteered my services since I live pretty close to them, and I was interested in the project (who wouldn't be?!) (...) (25 years ago, 27-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: 8001 Battledroid in UK

(...) Well, you make it sound sooo appealing! I guess at this point as a mental exercise let's figure out a total price to send it over here. Then I'll let you know! I'm ashamed to ask in an ethnocentric way, but do you know what the German- US (...) (25 years ago, 27-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Scans uploaded, critique wanted

(...) There is a program called jpegtran which will rotate JPEGs by any multiple of 90 degrees without decompressing the file, i.e. just by moving bits around in the jpg file. This means that there is _no_ loss in quality. But (there always is a (...) (25 years ago, 27-Oct-99, to lugnet.db.scans)

Re: A New Hope (for the MF)

(...) I agree. Those saucers scare the bejubies out of me. One thing we don't know is if they have detailed any of the interior or if it is just the cockpit. Does the model double as a playset? I guess we don't know yet. If it doesn't I would be (...) (25 years ago, 27-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Lego 236 Garage

(...) Hmmmm, the only green Cellulose Acetate bricks that I'm aware of are plates from Samsonite LEGO (USA/Canada only, not available in Europe) parts packs (518, 519, 520, 521) from circa 1963-65. These plates would be only in sizes 1x1, 1x2, 2x2, (...) (25 years ago, 27-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: 2000 A-Wing comments

(...) I agree that the A-wing is too small, and maybe looks a little bit unsubstantial, but I've decided that I really like it. I especially appreciate the fact that the double tails are made out of bricks. This set is Old School. It reminds me of (...) (25 years ago, 27-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

A New Hope (for the MF)

Let's face the facts. We are going to be quite disappointed with next year's Millenium Falcon set. They really seem to have gone for the minimum possible set that could still resemble the MF.
