  Xenon Project

I'm working on a space theme that encoumpaces all of the themes plus some non space stuff. (It's mostly space that's why I'm puting it in here) Here's a log of the project: XENON OUTPOST LOG 3:30 8/28/99: XENON OUTPOST IS GOING TO UNDERGO A LARGE (...) (27 years ago, 23-Oct-99, to lugnet.space)

  The Great (Galactic) War

Here is a script style format story thingie I did: LEGO MANIA 1. Dissolve from black to space background. Stars, with no planets, there are no spaceships. 2. The LEGO logo 'drops' from the top of the screen. It 'hits' the middle left of the screen. (...) (27 years ago, 23-Oct-99, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Picture of Falcon?

(...) I agree the photo is very messed up. Whoever prepared it did a very quick and dirty masking job. One wonders why. What was in the background that they wanted to mask off? Anyway, the blue mask is done so badly it's creeping in to the model (...) (27 years ago, 23-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Scale of Lego

Well Bryan, here are some interesting minifig scale figures: If you assume that an average door is 80' tall and you apply that to the minifig scale doors, in proportion a minifig is 5'7" tall. Which is a good average height for a human. The amusing (...) (27 years ago, 23-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Analog port shaft encoder

Tried what you said Joshua, I went through all the analog ports and manually fed them with a TTL signal from a function generator at a relatively low frequency of 5Hz and wrote this little test code to test it. In this example, the sencdr3.icb has (...) (27 years ago, 23-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Babylon 5 ships

Has anyone tried to make any of the ships from the TV show Babylon 5? If so how did they turn out? And do you have them posted anywhere for viewing? I loved the show, but have no idea where to start to try and make a ship like those on the show. (...) (27 years ago, 23-Oct-99, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Position Finding/Mapping Description

(...) I just dissasembled the 3 wheel configuration, and built a four wheel one with another turntable I found. It is now a four wheeler. Balance is solved, with no counterweight, and I think that it will steer a lot straighter too. The turntables (...) (27 years ago, 23-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: New Star Wars... has the newness worn off?

(...) And why? Ultimately it is for the parts, not the sets. As long as they keep introducing new parts and established ones in new colors, who cares what pablum they produce? I have dozens of SW sets and yet not one is built. IMHO the sets are for (...) (27 years ago, 23-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)
