Actually, current catalogs *are* prohibited, but the intention is to prevent sellers from circumventing the fee structure by selling a catalog cheaply, then having buyers order from the original seller (makes sense to me). I came up with my own makeshift fire hydrants last night. Here's my way of doing it - Take a 1x2 plate (the one with only one stud on top, in the center) and place a 1x1 plate on top of it. Then place a 1x1 cylinder and top it off with a 1x1 dot (or (...) (25 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.town)

(...) WTF??! I have never seen that documented anywhere, and there are lots of catalogs on ebay at any given time. Perhaps the quote should have read: "Items that may educate the consumer are strictly prohibited..." I think it's time fore everyone (...) I recieved the box... Have to say it was very disappointing. Didn't find anything interesting at all. A LOT of car parts, if you're into that stuff (wheels, chassis, steering wheels). My local toy shop is closing and has an ex - display 4564 for sale. Some of it is glued together. It's a bit dusty but not faded. There is a circle of track on a perpex ring but no accessories.
