Re: SW set list for 2000

(...) Agreed. He HAS done better work, but even his best is merely airplane fodder rather than "wow, that changed how I think about X" stuff. (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Wot no RCX power connector?

I just bought a second RCX (version 1.5., on sale at K's Merchandise here in Illinois for $155). I just checked--it doesn't have a power connector either! :( Mike Kory Kevin Bracey <kevin.bracey@pacemicro.com> wrote in message (...) (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Hrmmm... 6334 must have been discontinued or something? I think I have 4 or 5 copies sitting in a pile in my Lego room. I'd be willing to let one of them go for a fair price, if you're interested. Only have one Pizza to Go, though, so it has (...) (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: LEGO article in Delta magazine

(...) Well I finally got the magazine from my bro. There was a one page write-up on LEGOLAND, CA as a place to go. Not much new. I did notice in one of the two small pictures, however, that some kids were holding kid-size wolfpack shields. I guess (...) (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Track Planning

(...) Well, you can allways do the non lego thing and cut some track so that the geometry is better. I have 4(?) pieces that I had to cut for the current layout, plus 2 points (cut and remade into full curves...why they didn't make them like Matt (...) (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Feedback solicitation

This is a problem for me too. What I do is say: "I’m happy when you are happy. I’ll post feedback as soon as you do the same for me." I thought this would upset my buyers/sellers, but the oposite has been true. I've had a few e-mails saying that (...) (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Re: Track Planning

Thanks James. After reading Matt's geometry page I found one solution. It's not as pretty as I'd like, but it does the job without any cheating. As it is a return loop, it is useful for a point to point layout. It can also hold a train in the loop (...) (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Track Planning

(...) Yes. I don't know how large exactly (or how small...). I used to have a setup like this in my bedroom.
