I have a British Airways Promo set (2769 - (URL) available for trade. This set is new in box. The box shows some shelf wear but nothing of any real signficance.   RE: AI and even more exiciting stuff

(...) Absolutely. Just not in our class, especially since it is an advanced (jr./sr. year) class which assumes a certain grounding before entry. -Luis ###...### Profanity is the one language that all programmers understand. -Anonymous ###...### (25 years ago, 18-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Busy-Bee has 6347 Monorail Accessory Track!

(...) The motor would be sufficient to build small self propelled vehicles (if you mounted a battery box somewhere) but for regular monorails you also need the 4 wide platforms (with a bogie/truck at the far end) that attach to the motor.   Re: Scan of current S@H catalog

(...) Hi Larry, I see that you want to sell a S@H catalog through E-Bay. Now,i'm a little disapointed because now you can make only 1 person happy with it. What do you think of the following idee: Place scans of the S@H catalog at the brickshelf.com (...) (...) had (...) Actually, he didn't die. I'm not sure if it mentioned elsewhere, but the first book in the "Bounty Hunter Wars" series of books by K.W.   Re: I was in asda at the weekend...

(...) Which Asda was that? I'm not too sure whether the store's sales policy / "whoops" discounts apply nationwide, so it may just be at your local store. Personally, I was at Asda at Parkhead Forge in Glasgow at the weekend, and picked up two Naboo (...) (25 years ago, 18-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: SW set list for 2000

(...) ??? Well, hate to say this, but, um, it happened. Boba Fett was a minor character who filled a specific plot point, and was written out when no longer necessary. The only reason anyone cares at all is that he looked cool. James (URL) (25 years ago, 18-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: SW set list for 2000

(...) There is no exscuse for the way that Boba Fett was killed off in ROTJ. He had too much potential as a character, and the grudge between he and Han had too much plot potential to be abandoned and resolved so easily. A major mistake by Lucas, I (...)   Handyboard low voltage motor control

Hi All, Most of you guys seem to want more power to control motors, well, I want to go the other way. I'm looking to drive 1.5v motors with the handyboard. The lowest voltage the L293 can take is 4.5v (Vmin of Vcc1), and that still has my motors (...) (25 years ago, 18-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Re: Criticisms of the new LEGO web-site

Another thing to point out: Even if people have platforms that support Java, many people disable it to avoid possibilities of destructive web sites (or like me at work, just getting tired of the whole browser getting blown away by Javascript bugs).
