Thanks for all the help and suggestions. However, I found an alternate way of doing this last night. The columns in M are simply the axis spanning the rotated coordinate system, right? So we can use v as the 2nd axis to get the v vector pointing (...) (25 years ago, 14-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad)

The LUGNet page has it at $14.95 (URL) today's money that is about $22.08 The much used $0.10 per part guide equates to $16.40. Lego seems to be developing new elements at a fast pace. I estimate that more than 50 new pieces have been appearing each year for the last four or five years.
