(...) (URL) that's better. Adding the extra pulley on the face of the gear was a stroke of genius! Sometimes we get so focused on the task at hand that it never occurs to us to make improvements.   Re: Timmy

I guess from my standpoint, Timmy is a representation on how ill-thinking the TLG can be in terms of products, bulk orders, etc. Hideous line, some good parts, all have been drastically discounted to get rid of them, except for TRU, which will wait (...)   Re: I wonder where he got the scans from?

(...) [snip rest of canned response] What the hell is up with eBay? This doesn't sound like them. There was an auction that I bid on that was a pirated copy of a movie, but it didn't "sound" like it was pirated in item's description; though it (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

  Timmy

Is it just me, or does everyone at LUGNET have a grudge against, or just finds Timmy (from the time cruisers series) incredibly annoying? (25 years ago, 11-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Freeware LEGO Software in an German Computer magazine

Hi! I couldn't believe my eyes today when I browsed (the oldfashioned fingers-between-paper-browsing) my favourite computer-magazine, the c'T from Germany. There was a 2/3-page article about freeware Lego-building programs, LDraw, LEdit, MLCAD und (...) (25 years ago, 11-Oct-99, to lugnet.announce)
