  Re: Close-ups on rebelscum.com

(...) TLG *might* be able to get away with a regular town/space helmet with a paint job. It doesn't look like that's what they did, but you never know. eric (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: NELUG mail relaying problem...

I just wanted to let everyone know that it seems that the mail relaying problem seems to be solved and all the mail I sent out yesterday is starting to be delivered include one mail I sent to the mailing lists.   Re: New Star Wars Stuff

(...) Rebelscum added some enlargements: < (URL) > < (URL) > < (URL) > My thoughts: - Han's parts will really work well as 'generic' minifig parts, in my collection at least. - Boba Fett's helmet is pretty cool, and he has a new backpack! Yay!! - (...) (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

  linking

I have a quick question about putting links on my site. Do I need to gain permission from the sites that I want to link to. Ex: the official lego site (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: Close-ups on rebelscum.com

(...) B-wing. (...) Thanks alot for this. The pilot looks extremely cool although I don't know about the B-Wing. To me the engines are to blocky and the lower wing should be longer and thicker. The front of the canopy is extremely close to the one (...) (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: new Millennium Falcon

(...) You're certainly enititled to that opinion. (...) What does the crazy way the lights sources are angled on the model have to do with whether it's Lego or not?   Re: !!! Laser attachments for Mindstorms !!!

Maybe the robot could use the laser to draw spiro-graph designs on the wall, I'm not sure if the motors could position the beam that fast though. Joel Shafer joel@connect.net (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

!!! Laser attachments for Mindstorms !!!

Lasers are very well, and make cool toys. My cat loves to chase the little red spot on the carpet! But if you're talking about scanning or diffusing the beam, aren't you defeating the purpose of using a laser. If you want a cone, use a super- bright (...)
