Yours is definitely superior in terms of resembling the movies, but I'm sure
sacrifices have to be made by TLG in terms of keeping piece count low,
instructions not-too-complex, and so on.

Yeah, he does seem to be an accurate B-Wing Pilot. That's something I had
written off a while ago... I had assumed TLG would use the same pilot 'fig and
helmet for all the Rebel Ships. But, I guess if they have a 5 year contract,
and spread them out, they can make new 'figs for all of them. Of course, I'm
sure they con only afford so many new 'figs per year... so we might be seeing
the B-Wing Pilot instead of, say, the much-lusted-after Stormtrooper.

True enough. Of course, I'm willing to bet that the (best of the) homegrown
designs will outclass TLG's... they always seem to in all the other categories.

| (...) contract, Uh, that should be 9 years. TLG and Lucas had an agreement through all of the new movies, so if the release dates are correct, it would be a 9 year contract. | (...) B-wing. (...) Thanks alot for this. The pilot looks extremely cool although I don't know about the B-Wing. To me the engines are to blocky and the lower wing should be longer and thicker.
