  Re: TLG's customers

(...) More interesting might be how Lego sees their markets. Ciao! (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

  (canceled)

  Re: LEGO Pirates! D-Day Approaches!

(...) Clarification: I'm always confused. Maybe it's time for a new Lego block company: LUG-Blocks or maybe GerfBlocks ( (URL) :) We could dictate our own quality controls, etc. I think that the Megablock sets are impressive, but their brick quality (...)   5233 question..( Beams and plates)

I noticed that Busy Bee has 5233 Small beams and Plates. What color(s) do these come in? Thanks! Eric (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: LEGO Pirates! D-Day Approaches!

I'm confused. I like the idea about marshalling up support for better lego sets, people may think us weird, but I'm sure they won't tell me to my face (I'd be wearing a black motorcycle leather jacket, think bad-a** biker), and I don't care. Just (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brown Forestmen

(...) regular red, blue, black, or all green tops it is brown. I checked all of the forestmen sets in the pause database but no brown forestmen. I am starting to think that i have a mistake on my hands here. Rich (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Trains and Rock Raiders

(...) OK. What about Roboforce? It's definitely Space. There are no ships in any of the RF sets. There is one flyer, in RoboMaster. (I do realize that RR is in the Underground System, not Space. I'm just carrying on for the nitpicking fun of it.) (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Insurance

(...) Did you look into contracting with some kind of a disaster recovery outfit? In the large-organization world (mainframes, call centers, etc), this is a plan/arrangement to get your data and environment quickly set up and running in another (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Does anyone accually like 4561?

(...) I guess after the 3rd or 4th yellow raft they become a SPUD, if they appeared in smaller quantities, I wouldn't object. They do look good. I need to get the Bellville set which has a pink one though... (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.reviews)

  Re: Castle Minifigs: Relative Rareness

(...) And of course, probably the rarest genre of all: Yellow-Castle-type figs DaveE (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Inverse grey corner slope availability

(...) They are part of a larger piece. It is a 6x6x2 block that is new this year, and being used to attach the wings on various SW vehicles. I'll let someone more articulate describe the piece better. :) James (URL) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Does anyone accually like 4561?

(...) SPUD = Special Purpose, Useless, Decorative. Think yellow rafts from Divers. POOP = Piece Out of Other Pieces. Things that should have been multiple pieces. Think 5-high bricks, angled bricks with double slopes, Town Jr. elements. Steve (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.reviews)

Re: Group Question - please read and give me your opinion

(...) Sorry, I's getting a little lost. Steve (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: LEGO for Life Sweepstakes

(...) That was my initial reaction, but it depends on how much this sweepstakes is promoted. Offer someone the chance to win $2,000 worth of a pricey line of toys, and they are *much* more likely to give you some marketing info, regardless of their (...)   Re: Brown Forestmen

(...) If it is a brown figure, with a wolf's head emblem, it would have come from the Wolfpack sub-theme. I don't actually recall any brown "forestmen" (URL) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Castle Minifigs: Relative Rareness

(...) cylindrical (...) Just off-the-cuff, I would say that the old lion crest, axe crest, 'breast plate' and Black Falcon crest torsos will be hardest to build up significant numbers of. After that, probably the various dragon crest and forestmen (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: anyone know what those horse covers are called

(...) Yeah, was mainly sticking to sets that didn't depress my by their lack of availability... :( I wonder if S@H has anymore 6090's? Sure wish they'd discount those like they did 6097. (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: 4x2ReVu: 5909 Treasure Raiders

There are seven aircraft by my count and here is how I rank them with 7 being lowest and 1 being highest: 7)Shell exclusive (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.adventurers)
