  Re: Utah Legomaniacs Get Together

(...) Is the "Upper Michigan Linux Users Group" a major force in Linux, or was there some other reason you were surprised? Steve (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ut, lugnet.org.us)

Re: Cudo's to 4910 and an Ugh to 4950

Does it have the sloped control stand in teal, or are my eyes deceiving me? (BTW I need one of those in white if someone has some, I can trade grey or black for it) Just think, a 6990 Futuron monoral with teal accents, wouldn't that look cool?   Re: 8448 Street Sensation Racing - Are you game?

(...) Absolutely. However much I'd love to have a complete set of Michael Gasperi's toys (I mean sensors) such a challenge would only work for me if I could do it the pure way :) (except, of course, for software...) -Luis ###...### Profanity is the (...)   Re: [FS] - eBay - McDonald's Promo set, box only - 25 cents

Hmmm... I thought every single reference to Lugnet has a superscript "TM" after it. I used the ampersand encoded version (ampersand pound 1 5 3 semicolon or "™" in my original copy. Are you SURE? All of them look right to me but I may be (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.publish)

<FIx4x9.K7z@lugnet.com> <37F4AD4C.586@mindspring.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit What a horror story. Between shipping and bribes, we're getting maybe 20 cents on the dollar. I think kudos should go (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: RCX Controlled Air Compressor Tester

(...) Works for me. I'll even pay for shipping. :-) Just kidding. I think we need to see instructions for the tester! That way we can all reproduce the results. But, maybe we need to compare several testers to see how much variability there is (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Download problem

Hi Dave and everybody, I have a strange problem with an NQC program. It's something Marco Beri and I are preparing for the Mindfest. The program is rather large if compared to the average NQC programs: about 240 lines of code with large inline (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: McDonald's Promotional Set

(...) A usefull datapoint: Canadians (and probably others) can call S@H US and place an order which is shipped to a buddy in the US. This reduces the money exchanged to shipping costs and allows the buyer to put most of the cost on a credit card. (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.shipping)

  Re: Minifig Box #2

Minifig Box #2 is on its way. It took me a while to get it together, but I can assure you that there are about 65 very mint minifigs, 4 "Stiffies", 1 Technic, and 6 Maxifigs. All torsos are in excellent shape, and most (85%) have legs to go with (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: [FS] - eBay - McDonald's Promo set, box only - 25 cents

Cudo's to 4910 and an Ugh to 4950

I just thought I would throw in by 2 cents worth on these 2 sets. First let me say that I do not personally own 4950 but my nephiew got it recently and I helped him put it together so I have first hand knowledge. Personally I think 4950 ( (URL) ) is (...)   Re: Update and thanks to all of you (was: Re: Toy Aid for children affected from Earthquake in Turkey)

Wow... We're going to have to figure out a better way to handle these situations. I'll talk to the Operation Toybox folks and see what ideas they have for the future. I think they only do aid to US and possesions, but they have managed to get free (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: CW/CCW, vertex sequence, co-planar, convex, (115kB)

(...) It wouldn't matter if they were closed-volume or not--they could still be turned inside out accidently. And an inside-out closed-volume primitive wouldn't do anybody any good. (...) Why? Steve (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Why are SSIs bad?
