  Re: Did you see this?!

(...) This one in particular probably is -- it's a uniquely cool set, since it's in the Castle line, yet is a building other than a castle. (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: More New Lego Parts

(...) I'll plug it for you then -- looks and works really nicely. The only shortcoming is that there isn't enough there. I hate buying on eBay, although admittedly I see the attraction of selling there. But I'll look at (URL) first. And if you're (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Did you see this?!

I was wondering through Ebay and saw this and almost passed out! Can you believe the amount of money they spent on this set?? (URL) the castle stuff worth that much??? Jodi (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Who here in Legoland has a Cable modem?

(...) I've worked with literally hundreds of brand new (as in I took them out of the box) systems over the last year. With the exception of a few Compaq pieces of junk, I've never seen one that ran 640x480x16 color out of the box. -- The parts you (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Wanted - Black Monarch Castle - #6085

(...) Well, this is the third message I've read from you saying this. How about posting this to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade - which is probably where it belongs, and where you might actually get more response? -- The parts you want and nothing (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Who here in Legoland has a Cable modem?

(...) How about the people who buy their spiffy new computer with a 17" monitor and 16MB AGP graphics card and run it in the default 640x480 16-color mode? Are you concerned about them? I bet they're a majority. :) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Octan sets - sticker sheets or scans of them needed

I need the sticker sheets, or scans of those sheets (scanned with a ruler next to them so I can print them actual size) for the following Octan sets. If you have them, please let me know: 6397 6663 6515 (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Who here in Legoland has a Cable modem?

(...) FYI, it's $40/month here, +$10 for the modem, -$10 if you subscribe to cable TV too. (We don't.) PS -- it's probably too late now, but this topic really belongs in lugnet.publish.... (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  Standardized Inventory File Format?

Hello, I originally posted this idea in lugnet.cad.dev, and Jacob Sparre Andersen suggested I consult with the patrons of this group. For the Lego CAD program I'm developing, I got the idea for allowing users to load a set inventory file if they (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.db.inv)

Re: Who here in Legoland has a Cable modem?

(...) Fine, when you're talking about text, but if you've got a lot of images, pixel size does matter. (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.publish)

Re: Who here in Legoland has a Cable modem?

Here in Katy (Houston),Texas My ADSL service costs $49.00 per month including internet provider. This is for 128/384 service although my download speed are consistently close to the 1.5 meg range. I have had no problems with my ADSL service. I am (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: File format for set inventories?

Gary Williams: (...) Why? To build a model only with parts from a specific set? Well, why not? I would check out that the people over in lugnet.db.inv, where they already are busy making inventories of sets. I expect they have decided a file format (...)   File format for set inventories?

Hello again, For the Lego CAD program I'm developing, I got the idea for allowing users to load a set inventory file. Then the parts from that set would appear in a part bin window. As the user dragged parts out of this bin to build their model, the (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Motor Control

Re: color sensor: was ( Light sensor values)

More simlple : use the sensor input mux by Michael Gasperi. You can easily connect 3 (up to 7) passive sensors to one RCX input. I've completed mine, but didn't test it already. "Stephen P. Gibbons" a écrit : (...) ---...--- Philippe Jadin (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Code Repository

Whoops, there are already 4 propositions of nqc code repository. Which one is ideal? imho, the best we can have is only one place, with all the stuff. Or some kind of colaboration between the different hosts. Else, this won't be as usefull as it (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)
