  Just STL? C'mon SPR!

Hi! Amos here. I'm an AAFOL (Almost Adult Fan of Lego, I'm 20 ;^) in Springfield and I _know_ there's SOMEONE in or around SPR that at least knows what a Lego IS! I'm lookin' to trade sets, bricks, tips and tricks about mostly Technic but also (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.spr, lugnet.loc.us.mo)

  Any Comments on "Light Bricks?"

Hi, Has anyone found the "light bricks" to be of bright enough intensity to be useful as "homing beacons" on robots? I understand that they can be attached to an RCX output port much like a motor, and that their intensity can be controlled in much (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Update on the PNLTC display at the Western Washington Fair

Hi All, I am in the very early stages of getting the pics up from the WWF show. There is a WWF page that is "under major consturction" posted under "Galleries" on the www.PNLTC.org page. Pls enjoy what's there, but I would rather not "tell the (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: FOTW --> BSB! (SF bay area)

Actually, David is across the bay from you in Albany, and the stores he mentions are on Solano Avenue near San Pablo Ave. Paul Sinasohn, who hasn't gotten up there to look in those used toy stores yet. (Followups to the local group) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Yet another Datsville update

One, problem that you haven't fixed is that on the right(northbound) one way street, the stoplight is facing in the wrong direction. You would either have to have the post on the other side of the street. Ryan. ***...*** REPLY SEPARATOR ***...*** (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Yet another Datsville update

IIRC color 43 trans-dark cyan works pretty well in POV. That is the color I originally used for my car windshields when I first started using Ldraw, but then I stopped because I liked color 41 better in Ldraw. Ryan nice, pics, btw. ***...*** REPLY (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Is there a device that...?

One manufacturer of such a device is Fascinating Electronics of Oregon. They make a device that hooks to your serial port, you send it "commands" and it answers. The board has a/d inputs digital inputs and outputs a relay output, etc. It works by (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

(...) What's wrong with us Missourians? I'm the only AFOL in MO that I know (I've seen traffic in .loc.us.mo.stl, though) I live in Springfield which is pretty far south in the state, but I still consider myself in the Midwest.
