Re: Sophie sentenced to 7 years

(...) More like disappointed. Every part of society has issues--every hobby, every gathering, every what-have-you... And, since this is a hobby and not a company, we can't pick and choose who is a part of it. I met Eric at BF2004. I also (...) (12 years ago, 27-Dec-12, to lugnet.mediawatch)

Re: The oldest known LEGO bricks set of 1949??

  Re: Canadian sales Dec 21-24

(...) There is some variability between CDN Tire stores. The one nearest me had their LEGO and most other toys marked down 40%. It's a smaller store that doesn't even have enough space for their regular stock, much less seasonal stuff. Another CDN (...) (12 years ago, 21-Dec-12, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: The LEGO Company and the North American AFOL

(...) Neither do I, but for example the discussion groups at Embarcadero (current owners of the former Borland Delphi programming tool) are AFAIK using a standard product, and are usable both on the web and via nntp.   Re: The LEGO Company and the North American AFOL

(...) Yep. Many points for improvement (admins are presumably working on it), but I know of no direct replacement out there. I've been to most of the major LEGO discussion groups out there and none of them have the same functionality/versatility and (...) (12 years ago, 21-Dec-12, to lugnet.general)

Re: The LEGO Company and the North American AFOL

(...) So in conclusion with a tragically flawed system not allowing new prospective members to join and all the older members eventually forgetting their passwords and not being able to reset them it seems LUGNET is destined to whither away and die.
