Re: Some older somewhat hard to find sets found in Revere MA

I just parted out 4 Outback Airstrips but there are still a couple left in the store - 27.99 Cn plus tax, which works out to $22.00 US. LMK if Eric can't find you one and I will pick one up for you. Kevin (25 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

I was in the local McWalMart this morning (which has a McD's in the rear). I asked the same question of the manager. She basically indicated knowing nothing about any Lego/McD's promotional tie-in for the holiday season. She was suprised to hear (...) (25 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: New baseplate in 4293?

(...) I don't think this set will have too much effect on the price of 6416 Poolside Paradise for the following reasons: + the 4293 baseplate has a dirt driveway, more suitable for a rural area + the 6416 baseplate has a blue lined pool, the 4293 (...) (25 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: datsville airport

An airport, cool!! We could have it a little ways outside of town and put it right next to the raceway. I've got two reasons for this. 1. The noise won't bother the citizens as much 2. When a racer gets hurt they can load him in the ambulance, send (...) (25 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)
