RARE Lego Soft Set - Brand New in Box

This Item for sale is a 84 piece box of Lego Soft. This is extremely hard to find lego that is only sold through educational supply stores and has recently been retired from production.   Unified installer

I think the way that the LDraw utilities are installed is a bit complicated for novice users, especially children or parents of children. Essentially, the current scheme asks users to first install the resources required by the software, and *then* (...) (16 years ago, 25-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Buy/Sell/Trade forum in use?

  Buy/Sell/Trade forum in use?

Hi all! Is the Buy/Sell/Trade forum still in use? I posted there lately, and I got almost no answers. There is next to no activity there too. I am looking for used clear bricks, any kind (used is the best for my purpose), but... I cannot find such (...)   Decreasing comments in set listings.

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, hopefully it is. Has anybody else noticed the significant decrease in comments posted in the set listings? Five or six years ago you could get 90+ comments for some of the most popular (...) (16 years ago, 26-Nov-08, to lugnet.general)

YouTube Video pf the Classic Space layout at hte Christmas Show last weekend

(URL) which you will see a very 'youtube'-ish low quality video of our classic space layout at the show last weekend. Besides the stock '77 thru '82 space sets, you will see a moonbase-compliant monorail station built by Jeff vW, a classic (...)   Re: Opinions needed for Color and Edge Values

(...) I completely agree that changing the colour codes at this stage is a terrible idea. However I have nothing against duplicating them. One thing we do need is to maintain, alongside the LDraw codes, mapping lists to other known systems such as (...) (16 years ago, 25-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Opinions needed for Color and Edge Values

(...) Since MLCAD (and other programs) do not support color codes above 511, a different approach to reading TLG colors is needed. However, I have to strongly agree with Philo. Changing color codes that have been defined for years is not a good (...) (16 years ago, 25-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: The Brick Testament - The Book of Job

(...) Thanks, Anders. (...) Very interesting to hear. I've wondered if this project would actually result in people reading the Bible who might not have otherwise. A lot of it is really not a bad read if you've got the stomach for it. Other parts (...) (16 years ago, 25-Nov-08, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: Opinions needed for Color and Edge Values

(...) We should be able to have TLG names as a language file, since every TLG color value should map to every BL (BrickLink) color value. I certainly understand the drive to have them in the file in one form or another. Perhaps the most benefit can (...) (16 years ago, 25-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Opinions needed for Color and Edge Values

(...) I am _strongly_ against that. Imho this is the same mistake LEGO did a few years ago with the stone colors. What would be the point of defining a standard (ldconfig.ldr) to change it at the first drawback? Colors 70..72 are defined for more (...) (16 years ago, 25-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad)

  My mechanized Maxifigure

Hello, (URL) this is my attempt on a poseable Maxifigure. All in all it took me nearly two years to get it working. Legs, arms and head are moved by gears.   Re: LDraw (and LDraw.org) questions

Re: Opinions needed for Color and Edge Values

(...) I'd like to hear some opinions on how we do define backwards compatibility? Considering that most user built their models using MLCad (no idea which color numbers are supported by Leo, Bricksmith or SR3D) which comes with very limited color (...) (16 years ago, 25-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad)
