A bit over a week ago, I was surfing around the Legoverse trying to find some inspiration to build something space-related, and I came across the (URL) Building The Future That Never Was Contest> on (URL) classic-space.com>. I got to thinking about (...) (16 years ago, 24-Aug-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Miniland Classic Spaceman

My version of a spaceman from the Classic Space of the early 80's. Built to "miniland scale" like the models in Miniland in the Legoland theme parks. (URL) Built for the (URL) Creativity Challenge #6>. I just wish LEGO had produced the 1x2 brick (...) (16 years ago, 24-Aug-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, FTX)

(16 years ago, 24-Aug-08, to lugnet.loc.se)

  A simple rollercoaster...

This weekend I built a simple rollercoaster together with my youngest son (he's 19 now!). It's nothing compared to the big coasters some others have built, but we did have fun! It only uses 'plain' Lego, old 4.5V train parts, standard bricks, so (...) (16 years ago, 24-Aug-08, to lugnet.announce.moc)

  Re: Help with Patterns

(...) Thanks, Things are slowly working themselves out as I get to know some new programs - and how to identify errors that come up and such. Hopefully, I'll be ready to submit an initial 3069bpx28.dat soon. Quad2Dat has become really helpful. Ben (16 years ago, 24-Aug-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: LDraw Design Pad v2.0 Beta 1

(...) Language manager is where you manage syntax highlighting. Ignore "null" and "container" since they do not function and are added automatically by the editor so I can't get rid of them (for now). -Orion (16 years ago, 24-Aug-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw Design Pad v2.0 Beta 1

(...) Ok, major changes as I know them (there are so many that I may not mention some): - I changed the back end editor. It's more flexible and allows me to do cooler things. This means that any function that modifies the text had to be modified and (...) (16 years ago, 24-Aug-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: New Crane...

Re: LDraw Design Pad v2.0 Beta 1

(...) The Application Data\ is a hidden folder. Make sure the OS shows hidden folders. Orion, a more detailed report via mail. Could you also give us an overview what has been changed - I'm particularly interested what the language manager is all (...) (16 years ago, 24-Aug-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: The Brick Testament - God Wreaks Havoc

(...) Thanks, Kyle. After six years of working on this project, I'm going to need people to tell me if I start losing my touch as an illustrator. I will, of course, keep trying to better myself as a builder, but if nothing else I hope I can at least (...) (16 years ago, 24-Aug-08, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

  Re: Help with Patterns

Re: LDraw Design Pad v2.0 Beta 1

(...) I've realized that if you've use the previous alphas then order for syntax highlighting to work correctly you have to delete the editor preferences file. To do this: - Ensure LDDP is not running - Go your AppData directory. In Windows XP the (...) (16 years ago, 24-Aug-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LDDP 2.0 Coming

(...) I'm confused about this. In LDraw, negative Y is up so the more negative a part is in the Y direction, the higher it is in the model. -Orion (16 years ago, 24-Aug-08, to lugnet.cad)
