What would happen to your collection....

Not going to be morbid or anything, but here's the scenario-- You pass on. What happens to your LEGO collection? Many of us have collections well into the thousands, and some of us have well into the hundreds of thousands of pieces. I'd imagine that (...)   MOC: Falco II

Em português no meu blog: (2 URLs) This is my last MOC. Is a hydroplane inspired on the original Falco that appears on the Conan, The Future Boy, a anime TV series from the 70s. The main reason to do this adaptation was the general shape of the (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jan-08, to lugnet.loc.pt, lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

Re: Poll for new Town Sets

(...) Following on this, I am absolutely sure a yellow school bus would sell great, at least in the US! Something like (URL) this> or (URL) this>. Regular city buses could be fun as well, such as (URL) this>, (URL) this> or (URL) this>. Regular (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jan-08, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: Can't find this part on Peeron: 2x2 plates with connecting stem

(...) That's more or less correct. If you pull up an individual part entry, the far right column shows what sets it's been used in (if it's a part, minifig, or some other sub-component of a set), and the next column to the left will give you rolling (...)   Re: Norfolk & Western Y6b 2-8-8-2 Steam Locomotive

(...) Wow! Both a nice build and it looks to have a heck of an engineering feat in the running gear as well. Thanks for including all of the pictures of what's behind the curtain. Is it a good runner? Seeing models like this make to attempt a larger (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jan-08, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: colors.dat (Was: POV Color Cheat?)

I have two comments. First of all, it appears that you divided the colors in ldconfig.ldr by 256, instead of dividing by 255. For example, blue in ldconfig.ldr has RGB values of 0, 51, 178. Dividing these by 256 yields the values you have below, (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jan-08, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Brick Testament image used on LEGO.com?!

(...) A long time ago, in a different far far away galaxy, I had a run in with the Lego legal department. I was buying an old store model on ebay and got an e-mail from one of their lawyers. She said Lego wanted the model back that I was high bidder (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jan-08, to lugnet.fun, FTX)

Re: Brick Testament image used on LEGO.com?!

(...) That is quite possible I think. There was a pre-promotional image of an EXO-Force model with a prominent "XFORSKN" sticker on its groin (my copy is lost unfortunately) and, more recently Star Wars had (URL) this great promotion> on a mock up.   Brick Testament image used on LEGO.com?!

Warning: this post contains language concerning and links to LEGO depictions of materials that some may consider offensive and/or inappropriate for children.   Re: Can't find this part on Peeron: 2x2 plates with connecting stem

(...) Lugnet has a tab somewhere in the catalog section that gives the high and low and average price or medium price. It is very handy as I think that it keeps track of what was sold and does not reset once there are none on Bricklink John P (17 years ago, 29-Jan-08, to lugnet.parts)

Re: LEGO Star Wars Anniversary Set - Help Decide

(...) Two models! USD 150 price range - each. R2D2 + C3PO. Nothing symbolizes the Star Wars saga better than those two characters. Display scale. With sound FX. -Morten (17 years ago, 29-Jan-08, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: Can't find this part on Peeron: 2x2 plates with connecting stem

(...) That is the inherent difficulty when selling such parts, there is no sound way to determine up ahead what a person would be willing to pay for it. Since I'm not in demant for it either, my "gut feeling" estimate for the price would be a low (...) (17 years ago, 29-Jan-08, to lugnet.parts)

Re: New Tutorial - LDD->LDraw and LDraw->LDD conversion

(...) I believe that's because searching for "whip" returns a match from the unofficial parts. Since an unofficial match is made, the lookup doesn't go on to examine the official parts. The Lookup was intended as a tool to assist PT users. So it's (...) (17 years ago, 29-Jan-08, to lugnet.cad.ldd)
