Re: Animation of Debris Removel Truck- Duane Hess

(...) I took some liberty to put a "dead" tree in the scene. Probably a Lego-knockoff tree. I am hoping to convert a few more of the great models I see here and put together a larger scene. Maybe something along the lines of the town being discussed (...) (25 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: The Return of THE BRICKYARD!

Caution, MySQL isn't transaction safe. It doesn't even SUPPORT transactions. Cool stuff otherwise, though. So don't spin up multiple copies of your server, or you'll be sorry.   Re: New models of Semi Trucks etc.

It loaded fine for me here at work, but I know for a fact it won't load at home, even though I am using Communicator 4.61 at both locations, both on NTWS 4.0 SP4. The reason I know it won't load at home, even without trying? Xoom. If you have a (...) (25 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

Re: Need Help Beta Testing a News Site

(...) Yeah, I'm highly considering it. I really like the look but LEGO may have the brick trademarked in the US, and it is featured prominitely on the site. Anyone have any other ideas for a little pic that says "plastic building bricks!" without (...) (25 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: House with porch

Actually, I like that idea just fine. I'm already halfway through a plan for a national bank (which dwarfs the dinky one just released by Lego for 1998-99.). There is even a drive-thru teller window. However, I'm lacking a door to the vault that (...) (25 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

(...) Dietmar/Rufus, I think you were perfectly fine posting to .market.buy-sell-trade. I've read and re-read your message three times and I don't see anything that makes it into an auction. Wow! Great concept and implementation. The music is perfect. I love how you made the tree fall, hit the back side, turn, and fall into the truck. I wonder if we'll ever see brown trees from TLG.   Re: Lego Service pack Question

But the weight issue isn't always the reason for extra pieces. Set #8247, the Technic Road Rebel, is a little 47-piece set. It has 3 extra Technic bits: a smooth half-bush, a full bush, and 3/4 pin. I haven't found any reason for those extra pieces. (...) (25 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)
