Interviewed about LEGO for Radio 4

I was recently interviewed by Peter Day for Radio 4's In Business programme in the UK, to go out on Thursday 20:30-21:00 BST (19:30 GMT, 21:30 CEST, 15:30 EDT or 14:30 EST, whichever you're on) and repeated Sunday 21:30-22:00.   Re: PreL3P 1.0

(...) No, but I can easily add some PreL3P options, just like I've added L3P options, in my LDA program. In that case, the command line options are better than the .ini way. (...) The Windows directory. But if there is one in the same folder as the (...) (17 years ago, 11-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad)

Re: SR 3D Builder Version 0.2.2.3 Available

(...) Looks like a *very* interesting program. Unfortunately it didn't like my graphics card, NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400 ("Could not get a device"), so there's no way I could test it :-( Some notes: - It's a bit unclear what to click to start the (...) (17 years ago, 11-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad)

Re: ...was - my robot works

(...) I was just trying to expand on what Derek said. (not my idea) Having the robot hit the wall doesn't sound good for a couple reasons. I must admit, the thought of Chris' robot tapping the wall, and smashing to the ground does sound fun, it may (...) (17 years ago, 11-Oct-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: ...was - my robot works

(...) Steve's idea very much sounds like that "wall" we originally talked about hitting. Derek is right, the higher up you go the easier it seems to swing. With some re-codeing, I can get my bot to swing at any height, and so far the bottom of the (...) (17 years ago, 11-Oct-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: ...was - my robot works

(...) If it were me, this is how I'd want to do it. Assuming there are "legs" holding the bar, simply put a rope from one leg to another, about half way down. The goal would be to make the robot's rope touch the marker rope. Steve (17 years ago, 11-Oct-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
