  Re: 10x20 green baseplates

(...) Of course the 12x24 has been used as a box top in recent sets. (...) I've heard these refered to as "super bricks", I kind of like that term. I definitely agree that they should be classified as bricks, not base plates. Another term I have (...) (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  Wheelchair/ridem chairs

In a previous post somewhere in this newsgroup, it was mentioned that LLC had decent access for wheelchairs, etc. However, does anyone know if they rent out wheelchairs or motorized chairs? I'm wondering, becuase I'm going there in ~2 1/2 weeks, and (...) (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.legoland.california)

  purple buckets at Mt.Pleasant Wal-Mart

I don't know just how rare these brick buckets are, but it seems like I'm seeing less and less of them. The Mt.Pleasant Wal-Mart (near the CMU campus) still has about 7 of them, at $4.50 each, if I remember correctly. At 400 pieces, that's a pretty (...) (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mi)

Re: Where are all the boxes?

(...) The Drab box is sitting by my door waiting to be mailed out - it sat for a bit, because I quadrupled it's size, and because there's 5 people in the Edmonton area who all got a crack at it. Mostly, however, it sat for so long because I was (...) (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  4.5v trains?

I may soon be having access to a bunch of 4.5v train sets, that I'll probably be auctioning off (since I'm not a huge train fan). However, I don't usually see much about 4.5v trains, it's usually 9v or 12v trains. Is this because there aren't a lot (...) (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Re: Lego man

I can sympathize, but if I ever start getting flak, I'll just wear my leather motorcycle jacket. There is something about a 6ft, huge dude with a fuzzy face staring at you that just....causes one to .... wilt. Of course, it can be fun to have the (...) (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) Um, status report: the Weeks box wasn't in my PO Box as of Friday evening. I'll check today after work. If that's languishing (waiting til the end of the day) then I'm guilty! :-, Cheers, - jsproat (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Storing Lego + Effect of light

Up to now my Lego has been almost entirely stored in some of the larger set boxes - and I'm becoming concerned at the effect it's having on the boxes, continually opening them, shifting them around etc. So last week in Sainsburies (for non-UK (...) (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  Where are all the boxes?

Are the boxes moving around and people just aren't posting about it or are they all languishing in the last recipient's corner? We've had news on one box in the past week out of what, 10 or 11 boxes? Do we need a rule like if it takes you more than (...) (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)
