Fwd: Robotics - Stolen Life (fwd)

Hello I'm wondering if you can help me. I am an independent filmmaker. I have just released the DVD of a new film "Stolen Life". Stolen Life is an unusual science fiction story populated entirely by industrial (non-humanoid) robots. Do you know of (...) (17 years ago, 13-Jul-07, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: The Mercurials - Lego Comic

That is really compelling. Very movie-like and something I will be following. I noticed that as it went along it got easier to tell who was speaking as it was a little hard to follow in some of the episode 1 panels. Is there a way to watch it as a (...)   Re: 3D Transformations Architecture Question

(...) Well thanks for spoiling my day :) I tried orions file and discovered a design flow in my new LD4DStudio renderer. It looks like this: (URL) seems Orion uses the rotation matrix to mirror some parts, this totally F-ups my normals :( And there (...) (17 years ago, 13-Jul-07, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Back after 5 years - trying to catch up

(...) Ahh, well that's a good question to which I haven't the answer. My guess would be that a few of the ringleaders wanted more control over the direction and tone of the NG and the rest just followed the leaders like the mindless lemmings that (...)   The Mercurials - Lego Comic

Greetings all. As an AFOL, I've enjoyed lurking around Lugnet, taking a look at all the amazing creations everyone has come up with, and reading Brick Journal. My wife and I recently started a project that I thought you'd be interested in: (URL) (...) (17 years ago, 13-Jul-07, to lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

Re: Back after 5 years - trying to catch up

(...) My question was about the reasons for the alluded exodus from .space, of course, not about the content of your post. Jim (17 years ago, 13-Jul-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: It's time for a DixieLUG meeting - July 14th

Re: Back after 5 years - trying to catch up

(...) Just out of curiosity, is there a particular reason for this? Nothing puerile, I hope. Jim (17 years ago, 13-Jul-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  RunBot

I saw this on Slashdot: (URL) find it interesting that parts of this robot are TECHNIC-esque. That and the fact that the robot walks and runs like a real person. (17 years ago, 13-Jul-07, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

  Re: By any other name...

(...) From a fellow rosebuilder, I say well done, Joe! I especially like the way you've incorporated many useless (to me, anyway) wedge plates. You've created a nice, tight pack of petals. Now, back to the Journal! :-) JOHN (17 years ago, 13-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Back after 5 years - trying to catch up

After a 5 year vacation from lego I am trying to catch up. I've already skimmed the LDraw site, BayLug, Brickshelf, BrickLink, Shipyard, and Moonbase. I looked at the .space roll call, but it has not been updated since 2003. The .space timeline was (...) (17 years ago, 13-Jul-07, to lugnet.space)

Theme for NWBrickCon 2007 and Sail-In

Ahoy mateys! The convention theme for NWBrickCon 2007 this year is . . . Pirates! We'll be having a special emphasis on the brick's buccaneers and encourage everone to bring Pirate-related models.
