Re: ILTCO @ NMRA Nat'l Train Show

I am very familiar with the city of Detroit from great restaurants and amazing bars to the University and Cultural/Museum district architecture and a bit of histroy. I would be more than happy to show some people from the various clubs around. I (...) (17 years ago, 7-Jul-07, to lugnet.trains)

  Creazioni in LDD

(17 years ago, 7-Jul-07, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

Re: The Brick Testament - David vs Saul

(...) Thanks! (...) Those are the very same pillars seen in Saul's throne room. Modular building is fun. (...) Yeah, I tired out numerous configurations of elements to try to get a nice fan shape for the spears and that was the one that looked best, (...)   Re: The Brick Testament - David vs Saul

Awesome work as always Brendan. Interesting way to use hinge bricks for minifigs, it's surprising you didn't do so earlier (as far as I remember). On a separate note, gay men the world over have used the "Jonathan & David" couple for centuries as an (...) (17 years ago, 6-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

  Re: color problems with 10190

(...) Thank you, that all makes sense. Some quality issues can be overlooked. However I do not like having different shades when I build something. It makes it look a bit cheap and unplaned. I hope that Lego listens as to the the color problem. It (...) (17 years ago, 6-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

  Re: color problems with 10190

(...) Thank you, I knew that I read it somewhere on Lugnet. Reading the article again, it appears that things might get worse unless Lego does something about the quality control in the next three years. (What I understand and this may be wrong is (...) (17 years ago, 6-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: The Brick Testament - David vs Saul

Hey Brendan, Another great outing. Pin the spear on the minstrel - I like the inset pillars on the wall of Saul's main hall. Also, the spear decoration is a nice idea, but I'm not 100% on the execution. I wish the clips for the third and fifth (...) (17 years ago, 6-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: TSRR #500 and the Texas State Railroad Project

(...) Well I have an update, if anyone is interested. It looks as if the TSRR has been saved, but not in the most favorable way.   ILTCO @ NMRA Nat'l Train Show

Hi All, Just wanted to remind every one about the NMRA National Train Show LEGO layout. There will be ~12 clubs jointly diplaying their best stuff in a giant ~100'x100' layout. It is at the Cobo Conference/Exhibition Center on July 27 - 29, 2007 in (...) (17 years ago, 6-Jul-07, to lugnet.events, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.announce) !!

  Re: color problems with 10190

(...) John, from what I understand, Flextronics took over Duplo manufacturing first. LEGO had molding operations in the Czech Republic, and that factory has been doing very well. Bagging operations in Enfield are being moved to Juarez, Mexico. (...) (17 years ago, 6-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

  Re: color problems with 10190
