I really liked your designs on your web page. I built the B-wing and changed the cockpit connector with a peice from a droid fighter. Much more stable. The parts are train doors (L & R), 2x3 and 4x3 train windows, the glass to go with the windows and doors (these are separate #'s), and old-style sliding doors as in 7722 (I think) and accompanying track pieces. Color is unknown, at least to me, but (...) (25 years ago, 29-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)

Well, I saw the Droid Dev Kit & the Robotics Discovery System boxes today at a TRU. The DDK and the RDS both show a RIS 1.5 box on the back. If we assume that the box was final art, then one change is the parts count. The existing RIS 1.0 has a (...) (25 years ago, 28-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I checked out Entrega's 2U1S1P Multifunction USB Hub (which adds a serial port and a parallel port without requiring additional IRQs) a few weeks ago. I found the serial port ("COM3USB") worked well for a 56K modem, a Palm HotSync cradle, the RIS IR (...) (25 years ago, 28-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) If it's an internal modem, you could set the modem to use a non-standard interrupt and IO port and configure your software to match. That'll leave room for another standard port.
