  Sukhoi Su-26M

(2 URLs) BS> (URL) Flickr> (URL) Instructions> Hi again, I seem to be in a plane fad. This time a Sukhoi Su-26M super-duper acrobatics plane. Since I was bored today I did up some instructions too (hopefully accurate). Tim (19 years ago, 6-May-07, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

Re: Reply from Chris Di MasiRe: Hobby Train & 9V motor

(...) Paul, I don't think any of your posts have been too critical. Critically evaluating a set is great. Honestly, I feel badly that two of my designs that went out won't quite work with a motor. On the other hand, when I built my trolleycar the (...) (19 years ago, 6-May-07, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Merchant Brig 'Nonlibre Billet'

(...) Hi Richie, Am I currect in thinking this can float? If so I think a lot of leeway can be given for the rest of it. I agree it's not quite up to your usual high standard but I'm sure the version 2 will do justice to your aims and goals. (...) (19 years ago, 6-May-07, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

Brickshelf user jmcollaco's (URL) gallery> has instructions for a GG1 made only with the parts from a single 10183 set. I built it today and can say it's a great model that adds even more value to the 10183 set. Here's a pic: (URL) I came up with a (...) (19 years ago, 6-May-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

In retrospect I hope my post didn't sound too critical. Really the (...) (19 years ago, 6-May-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: lego pick a brick

(...) Practically everything is cheaper on BrickLink. Very few parts are cheaper from online Pick-a-Brick and shipping just makes it worse. Now, in-store PAB is a different deal. That can be incredibly cheap, for some parts. Tim (19 years ago, 6-May-07, to lugnet.parts)

Haven't gotten to that model yet but, for a less drastic example, (URL) #05> (one of my favorites) does require a tweak to add a motor because the 2x6 plate on the base blocks the hole for the motor pin. I have tried to fit the 9V motor to the Hobby Train Tram. The tram has 2 bogies on 8 studs long, the other 9 studs long. The picture shows the motor, which is 10 studs long, replacing the 8 stud bogie. Therefore the "buffers" have to extend 1 stud (...) (19 years ago, 5-May-07, to lugnet.trains)
