Re: What's the weirdest LEGO item you own?

(...) Really? That's interesting, to say the least. I just checked Brickshelf, and there is indeed a folder showing the (URL) miracle> that is de-corpsification. That's excellent news, as I've really been itching to include some Batman minifigs in (...) (19 years ago, 5-May-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  lego pick a brick

Who might know? I was just on Lego's pick a brick and a brick 1x1 that has the studs on two sides is 9 cents, studs on 4 sides is 24 cents, almost 3 times as much for 2 extra studs. (actually 3 studs for the first one and 5 for the second one.) I (...) (19 years ago, 5-May-07, to lugnet.parts)

  Re: Minifigs On Tour!

(...) Well, I don't rememebr minifigs ever doing a virtual tor, but at least 2 sets have done an actual tour. Do a search on "Colin" and "Wanda" and look for messages in 2000. Also search for "Brad" and "tour" Paul Sinasohn LUGNET #115 (19 years ago, 4-May-07, to lugnet.general, lugnet.fun, lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

  Re: Steampunk X-Wing

(...) You're right of course. I knew of both yours and Mike's WW2 era X-Wings, and of Eric Poulton's blog as well. Since this text was cut'n'pasted from the FBTB entry post, it is therefore quite different from all of the other "evolution" entries (...)   Re: Steampunk X-Wing

(...) Not (URL) that> (URL) different>.... (...) It's good although I do find the width a little excessive out towards the nose. Seems that bit must be hard to get right since I was never happy with my nose design and I'm not sold on Mike Psiaki's (...) (19 years ago, 4-May-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Steampunk X-Wing

(...) Very cool. My favorite details are the steampunky R2 unit, the propellers, and the use of rifles at the ends of the wings. Bruce (19 years ago, 4-May-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: Market Street Preview on LEGO Factory

(...) Ok, I saw photos of this set last month and was under the impression that this was going to be sold in the LEGO stores as an exclusive LEGO item. I was also told that we should expect this in 2 months or so. I know the stores got the Hobby (...) (19 years ago, 4-May-07, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

  Re: NBC arrays

(...) Perhaps the executable file and bytecode reference PDF explains arrays in a way that would complement the description in the NBC manual. The firmware source code is also a good source of information about how arrays work. (...) The firmware (...) (19 years ago, 4-May-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Re: Aeroflot Antonov An-28

(...) Ooh good find. I think one of the pictures I found of an Antonov undergoing engine maintence also had extra struts at the back (maybe one engine isn't enough to rebalance it). Tim (19 years ago, 4-May-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Aeroflot Antonov An-28

--snip-- Thanks. (and to everyone else too) (...) Hehehehe I like this thinking. In response to those suggesting the weight brick: I tried a couple of motors but they weren't heavy enough to keep it nose heavy.I don't have a weight brick but I (...) (19 years ago, 4-May-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Aeroflot Antonov An-28

(...) Actually, there are Real World times when planes have to have their tails propped up to keep the nose gear on the ground. Below for instance is a row of KC-135 aerial tankers: (URL) (Warning - large file size) You can see the poles below the (...) (19 years ago, 4-May-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: What's the weirdest LEGO item you own?

(...) I've heard (and seen photos) that a yellow sharpie will repair that silly flesh tone problem. (19 years ago, 4-May-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: What's the weirdest LEGO item you own?

My weirdest LEGO thing is probably close to one of a kind. While I worked for LEGOLAND California, the maintenance team took the crane beam off of the Kid Power Tower. I believe it was a safety issue with the wind. The beam and hook were fiberglass (...) (19 years ago, 4-May-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: What's the weirdest LEGO item you own?
