Re: Fun with LDView Fly Through (A Minifig's Eye View)

(...) You're right - it does work. I retried it with L3P output and the view is positioned correctly. My previous effort used POV-Ray code from Anton's converter. That's not necessarily the reason it didn't work before, though: it was late and I was (...) (18 years ago, 19-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

  Re: BrickWorld 2007 - who's getting paid?

Bryan, Thank you for your post and informing the community of the intentions of your organization of BrickWorld 07. I have interspersed some comments among your points. Please read them carefully and in a positive frame of mind. They are not (...) (18 years ago, 19-Mar-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

Re: Fun with LDView Fly Through (A Minifig's Eye View)

(...) The aspect ratio shouldn't make enough of a difference to put the camera out of the ship. It should only change the cropping. If you have the same aspect ratio, you should should get nearly pixel-perfect alignment of all polygons that don't (...)   Re: Lego Spider-man 3?

(...) **snip** (...) That has puzzled me as well, and it makes cataloguing a bit of a headache, when there are a dozen sets called "Spider-Man." (...) I'm guessing that the #2004 Sandman's Bank Heist and #2002 Green Goblin's Secret Lab probably (...) (18 years ago, 19-Mar-07, to lugnet.licensed.spiderman, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: Peeron inventories

Jennifer: Here are some more examples. I finshed three more sets last night. Pull up the instructions for 7838. There are 12 3062b brick round black, step 22. 3010 brick 1x4 red there are 4, step 2 and 4 for the crane. the blue plate 3666 is not (...) (18 years ago, 19-Mar-07, to lugnet.inv)

Re: Another LaCrosse Show in the books

(...) So I hunted a bit this morning. I kinda think you could pull this off here in Minneapolis. It would have to be a smaller setting, but I'm not sure that the Jackson Street Roundhouse would have enough space to give. Don't / didn't we have some (...)   Re: Another LaCrosse Show in the books

I figure I should post in this thread, too - just so we have all three John's in the same thread. There, I've posted. <grin> I had fun flirting with the cute young reporter, we only slightly overwhelmed the poor girl. <lol> And for the record, I (...) (18 years ago, 19-Mar-07, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: MOC: Terraced houses

(...) Thanks for the description. Very helpful. The pictures don't look all that rough or depressing to me, but then again I'm quite badass myself. ;o) I figured even rough areas have kids that need to run around. Here in NYC there are rough areas (...) (18 years ago, 19-Mar-07, to lugnet.town)

Re: Another LaCrosse Show in the books

(...) Thanks! (...) I sent them (URL) HERE>:-) (...) Of course! (...) I think you schmoozed her too long-- it seemed to have affected her reporting. Or was J-1 actually quoted correctly when he said, (URL) "I’ve been playing with Legos since I was (...) (18 years ago, 19-Mar-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org, FTX)

  Re: Peeron inventories

(...) Thanks for the note, I have found other rather strange things in the early 80 sets. There is a round brick 1x1 open stud transgreen, that had a white coating on the inside. I have seen this in three sets. Also the minifig airtanks in red and (...) (18 years ago, 19-Mar-07, to lugnet.inv)
