I was poking around in a TRU today. I noticed various odd Lego buckets way up on a high shelf. I bought all of them. 4055 FreeStyle bucket (red), shorter than the Lego Classic bucket 4288, 320 pieces 2494 Lego System bucket (purple), same size as (...) I played around with sensors and wires, and came up with a way to use the touch sensor as a switch. See my post at lugnet.cad.dat.ideas (URL). Here a touch sensor is used as a switch. See my post at lugnet.robotics for more details. Electric plates of the same color belong to the same wire. The green plate is the input. I've seen a ROBOLAB video where someone had made a bot which could climb glass doors with suction cups and pneumatics, and Fudd has got his stair climber... but has anyone made a robot that can climb a pole of some sort? i.e. straight up? I have (...) (25 years ago, 25-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I really liked Ramblin' Robots by Ingrid Wickelgren. I learned some general things about robots - even though the book was written for teenagers. A book aimed at younger kids is Robotics by T.
