Need (working) program to generate instruction pictures

Hi, I need some programm to create bitmaps (or other file formats) stepwise instructions, just like the old Ldraw did in DOS. I tried ldglite, but it just shows a white window, even after loading a model. Do I need some addtional software? I am (...) (19 years ago, 3-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: So I got this NXT thingy....

(...) Is there some sort of reference out there like "brick plate plate brick" to teach us slow ones how to use studless systems? Calum (19 years ago, 3-Mar-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: BrickFest™ 2007 - NXT-only Sumo competition

(...) I wish I could...but, right now I am commuting 110 miles for work to a new job and the week of PDX I will be at a convention in Las Vegas... so life is pretty crazy ...but, you never know, maybe a midwest robot design will show up in the (...)   Re: Congrats Ross and Richie (5th cycle LEGO Ambassadors)

(...) I am pleased to see Lego's continued commitment to recycling :-) <rant on> I'm afraid I never understand why Lego uses the term "cycle" in connection with ambassadors. Why not "term" or a whole lot of other words that don't have nuances like: (...) (19 years ago, 2-Mar-07, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: So I got this NXT thingy....

(...) You will be assimilated... actually, while I've always liked hybrid construction, with the NXT I tend toward studless, at least partially because I have my studless sorted seperate from my studded, and... well, I really like the look of stuf (...)   Re: BrickFest™ 2007 - NXT-only Sumo competition

(...) Thanks for the suggestion, but this was carefully considered before the rules were drafted. If someone has an RCX and wants to enter a robot competition, they are very welcome to enter the Robotic Easter Egg Hunt (URL). While I'm sure that an (...)   I hereby accect long file names!

(...) It's an utterly complicated way, but it works! Only problem is that GetLongPathName erases all other kinds of command line parameters. Now that I know that at least it is possible to avoid shortened pathnames, I rest my case. I no longer (...) (19 years ago, 2-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

Re: Power Functions Element Pics (inc Plugs)

(...) All the pics should be visible now, at (URL) large motors have 2 half-depth pin recesses on opposite sides. They are designed primarily for a Technic beam interface because of their high torque - other models might fall apart! I held them in (...)   Re: So I got this NXT thingy....

(...) I have to agree with you, it does grow on you. I'm not opposed to the studless system. It offers a lot of flexibility. Like you I'm getting used to it. However I do think it's a tricky concept for kids at the FLL age. I think there is a (...) (19 years ago, 2-Mar-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Vermin Exterminator Bot + Vermin

(...) LOL! I like it! Wonderfully comical and unique use of pieces. Legs for eyes... Or are those double-vacuum cleaners for a head? Yeah, neat. -best, Wolf (19 years ago, 2-Mar-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Unpacking brickfest models

(...) All the models are really neat, but I really like the Stag. That's got a way-cool alien feel to it. Spidery, mantisy, mechanically & organicy, martian-three-eyedy. Great use of unusual elements. -best, Wolf (19 years ago, 2-Mar-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Metacluster Explorer

(...) Thank you much! I try to keep busy with Lego--unfortunately real life invades sometimes... ;o) The glitch is in the blue side-wing assemblies.   Re: LDView 3.1 on Mac OS X!

(...) Indeed. (...) Well that's the part I disagree with. Everyone is different, and making assumptions about what people will want to use is always bad for program developers. The choice should be the user's, not the programmer's. (...) That may be (...) (19 years ago, 2-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

  Re: Armoured Ski Mobile

Interesting, I do like how you did the front. What is the problem with BS, are they slow to moderate? Thanks for sharing Magnus (19 years ago, 2-Mar-07, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)
