Re: Dirty Brickster Is Returning To BrickFest™ PDX 2007!

(...) GEEE...EEEZ, Ted! If you don't want any of that great old style, plastic track that was used in the golden era of 4.5 volt trains, let me know. I'll be glad to discuss taking it of your hands...doesn't matter if it's blue or grey...Especially (...) (19 years ago, 26-Feb-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

  Motorized bulldozer complete

It isn't remote control like TLC's design, but a trained rat could drive it. (URL) me know what you think. (19 years ago, 26-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic) !

  Yet another Train Show

So it would seem another Train show is upon us. This time it is in the old historic Ogden Union Station in Ogdon on March 2-4 (Well this Saturday of course). The show times are Friday 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Saturday 9:30am to 6:00pm, and Sunday 9:30am (...) (19 years ago, 26-Feb-07, to lugnet.org.us.ulug, FTX)

  Re: Space Police I Retriever

(...) Hey, that's cool! Very sharp and clean-looking. Nice use of color scheme. I'd take a shot at building one if I had the right windscreen. The front landing gear arrangement, and tailfins, look pretty nifty, among other details. -best, Wolf (19 years ago, 26-Feb-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

"John" <John@TCLTC.org> wrote in message news:JDu4uz.Kq4@lugnet.com... (...) John: I really like the buildings. Two suggestions on the small building: (i) you might want to consider offsetting the front door to one side and putting another window (...)   Re: Space Police I Retriever

(...) Nice work! The colour scheme and the style of ship work well together. The juxtapositioning of old and new elements yields an interesting form! Thanks for sharing. Cheers Richie Dulin (19 years ago, 26-Feb-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Does anyone have source reference material for Australian steam locomotives?

(...) Hi Jonathan, There's a little information on the web, but not a whole lot. Your best bet is the local library, or local hobby book store, as there are quite a few good books on Australian steamers. And Teunis probably has most of them ;) ROSCO (19 years ago, 26-Feb-07, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.trains)

Re: Talk me into Bley at BrickFest

(...) I use both old-gray and bley indiscriminately. :o) Well, ok, not quite indisciminately, but I don't tend to worry about the change too much, and I'm a person who's very much a classic fan. I think part of the reason is that bley pieces tend to (...) (19 years ago, 26-Feb-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.color, FTX)

Does anyone have source reference material for Australian steam locomotives?

Does anyone have source reference material for Australian steam locomotives? (i.e. any steam locomotive used on any Australian railway) (19 years ago, 25-Feb-07, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.trains)

Re: Talk me into Bley at BrickFest

(...) I think you're right insofar as it doesn't quite match as well. And seeing the new light gray against the old really makes the new gray almost look a little pastel. So at first, yeah, I thought it looked awful as rock. But after seeing it get (...) (19 years ago, 25-Feb-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.color, FTX)

  Re: FindLight

Thanks. I thought setting maxlight before the 'if' statement would be enough, but moving it closer to the front (before the 'while' statement') did the trick. The bit after the while loop still gives me pain though. I've changed it a bit to be able (...) (19 years ago, 25-Feb-07, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: My LUGNET page (with MOC's)

(...) Oh, I didn't see your POV-Ray renders-- good, you've gotten your feet wet there:-) As for any recommendations, first let me say: I'm more of an IRL builder, which is my little way of saying that I know ABSolutely nada about virtual building.   Sky Math: Blacktronified :oD

Not even the trusty Sky Math is immune from Blacktron pilfering.   Re: My LUGNET page (with MOC's)

Some nice MOCs there! Welcome to Lugnet! I particularly like The Clarion. (I'm not much of an SW fan). I couldn't find your castle page for some reason ; ) but everything else looked good! God Bless, Nathan (URL) (19 years ago, 25-Feb-07, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: FindLight

(...) Looks like you're setting maxlight = SENSOR_2, then testing if (SENSOR_2 > maxlight), which will rarely (if ever) be true, because the value of SENSOR_2 is unlikely to change in such a short time. I think the first maxlight = SENSOR_2 (...) (19 years ago, 25-Feb-07, to lugnet.robotics)
