Not even the trusty Sky Math is immune from Blacktron pilfering. Here’s a NES
photo of a Blacktron on what appears to be on a recon over the New Californiator
Republic:
The above vehicle shot away into the interstellar depths immediately after
detection!
Now, to some shop details:
I find Eric Sophie’s creation to be very sturdy & “swooshable.” :o) I’m sure I
didn’t get all the details exactly to the original specs, but it’s close. I also
made a few mods. I didn’t want to remove the tailfins to open the back, so I
lifted their hinge-brick supports by a plate. With finishing tiles on top of the
doors, they easily open. However--I had to eliminate the 1 x 2 slopes to
accomplish this. My interior appears to be a bit different too--I could only get
the base of the computers one stud deep. Eric’s version has them inside by two
studs. Oh well. It’s close. Here are some more photos:
