Re: The Unofficial LEGO Advanced Building Techniques Guide

(...) Wow, nice work Didier! I recall using the axle and tube method shown back in 2003-2004 when I built my completely stud free (correct proportion) monolith from 2001: (URL) I assume this technique was widely known before then but it surprised me (...)   Some building techniques - appropriate for .schleim?

Hey there fellow schleimers! You probably don't know me, as this is my first post here. (...) Thank you - I'keep this thread in my bookmarks and I'll fix that in the next release (...) Yes, the SNIR chapter needs an improvment with advanced use of hinges parts. More ideas or resources ? Thanks, Didier (19 years ago, 18-Feb-07, to lugnet.build.schleim)

  Hinge wall alignment

I have one other technique that I haven't documented yet. I saw William Howard doing some slanted walls for shop fronts, and had to work out the maths behind it. Is anyone else getting a brickshelf.com (and maj.com)? Also, the stories seem to have disappeared from the main Lugnet page, this seems to be caused be the server error at brickshelf, causing an abort error in the "recent gallery" box.
