So I was at a wedding a while back. The wedding favour to the people assembled to join in the celebration of the couple was a LEGO set. It was a specific set designed by the bride and groom, consisting of 2 2x8 bricks with the names of the couple (...) (19 years ago, 22-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Diorama non ufficiale per Ballabio

(...) I nomi devono essere evocativi, secondo me. Se dico diorama "strada ItLUG" (o "viale ItLUG") e diorama "Legoland città", penso sia evidente a cosa mi riferisco. Sarei d'accordo nel creare apposite aree sul sito ItLUG dove riepilogare i (...) (19 years ago, 22-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

Re: NXT software -- my view

(...) Hey - I'm not saying no-one uses basic. I even use visual basic for building front ends, and GWBasic for my parallel port control projects...(so simple a 10 year old can do it :) I'm just saying that if you bite the bullet and actually TRY to (...)   Re: How long will train 9v motors last?

(...) You can configure the RCX sleep time using the standard MindStorms software. I don't have an installation of this handy to tell you exactly how to do it, but I remember setting this after doing firmware downloads. The sleep time setting is (...)   Re: got Cheese?

And the powerful-but-mistunderstood Limburger. How about a (...) (19 years ago, 22-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Review of the 2007 Fire Station 7945

This is the first time I have written a review of a new LEGO set but I am very impressed by the new fire station (URL) That also may explain why it is on back order already at www.LEGO.com. I purchased one of the new fire sets over the weekend. This (...) (19 years ago, 22-Jan-07, to lugnet.town)

  Re: ED-209

(...) That's true, but Aardman's stuff doesn't count because it's perfect--and it's a vile blasphemy to suggest otherwise. Its inclusion would automatically distort analysis of any other film!!!   got Cheese?

(URL) I like the 1x1x2/3 slope piece, and was inspired to use some in a new MOC. A friend of mine said that the yellow ones look like cheese, and that comment stuck in my mind... so after some trial and error, I came up with a little robot which I (...)
