Lego name used in Scientific American

I note that in the February Issue of Scientific American there is an article entitled "MOLECULAR LEGO". And within the article a side bar reference to "Nano Lego". I am very surprised that TLG tend to encourage us to not use their name and yet (...) (19 years ago, 18-Jan-07, to lugnet.mediawatch)

  Re: Sector 4 Tribunal

(...) Sorry I'm late . . . . Excellent MOC. It is a great mix of three themes and gives lots of ideas for all. From a town perspective, I just love the interior pics. Interiors are something I don't do enough of, but the more I see of them . . . (...) (19 years ago, 18-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Text Based Programming for NXT - pbLua is Available

Hi Ralph, it's great to see this. I'm eager to have a play. Apologies if I've been part of the bother with sending you emails. In releasing details of your toolset, are you revealing your source code too? Both would be an enormous help to people (...) (19 years ago, 18-Jan-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

Re: French Toy Fair 2007 : pictures !

Hi, LEGO France asked to us to remove the pictures of upcoming sets. So the pictures are no more available on FreeLUG and on the mirrors. Please do the same. Thank you everyone. Erik (19 years ago, 18-Jan-07, to lugnet.year.2007, FTX)

  Duplicating problem in MPD rendering

I noticed when I render a multi part document using L3PAO and Povray it seems to make a duplicate ghost of some of the parts. The document has four models: - Complete assembly - Subassembly 1 - Subassembly 2 - Subassembly 3 The complete assembly (...) (19 years ago, 18-Jan-07, to lugnet.cad)

GAetano (...) (...) When you do that, I recommend you not only test the 9 "on-brick" programming options on the page, but also the 18 "off-brick" programming tools, even if they're not allowed in FLL. :) Woops, guess I shouldn't have told you how many there are. We seem to be avoiding the real issue here. This free exchange of hard gained knowledge has got to stop. Haven't you guys ever heard of the computer preisthood?   Re: [steve@teamhassenplug.org: Re: Apology]

(...) Hmm. I'm not sure who you're upset about here, but I think this was a heart-felt effort on the part of two people to apologize for slights, real or imagined, that occured in a public forum. In other words, they both seem to be behaving in a (...) (19 years ago, 18-Jan-07, to lugnet.robotics)

Ted, I'm not totally sure what you're saying, or why you felt the need to put my e-mail address in the subject line, but I believe the discussion is pretty much resolved.   Re: Proposed Assembly Line Project

(...) Continuing along with that thought, how cool would this be? If I remember right, you showed me that the new train wheels have a technic axle hole in them. This isn't Russia, dude. Your page is good and useful. If someone else wants to put up a better page, then they should get off of their fat "MCPs" and do it instead of critisizing your work. If they can do a better job, then fine. You have no need (...) (19 years ago, 18-Jan-07, to lugnet.robotics)
