  Where'd the HOWTO document go?

Hi, Where's Luis Villa's HOWTO document? This is the URL I have for it: (URL) that server seems to have disappeared. Anyone know of a new home for this document? Thanks, Jonathan (25 years ago, 24-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: When should an auction end...

(...) (Taking the bait) My philosophy is that auctions shouldn't have an end. They should close when people stop bidding. Any other approach frustrates both seller and bidders. Steve (25 years ago, 24-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Re: Baseball mini-figs?

David, These sound cool, but why did they give the Red Sox minifig a red hat? It should have been blue with the red "B" on the hat. I have not heard about this going on here in Colorado, but that doesn't mean the Rockies haven't done it. I don't (...) (25 years ago, 24-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

SC Suggestions (was: Still bargains on my SC lots (was Re: FA - SC items - 6982 exploriens ...))

(...) Besides frequency, there's also brevity. For each item I'm watching, I just want to know the current bid & next higher bid and who's the current high bidder (more specific: I want to know if *I* am the current high bidder). I don't care nearly (...) (25 years ago, 24-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Conversation w/ a LEGO Rep

(...) It also has a lot to do with the local gasoline taxes. It amazes me how much gas prices change when I cross state lines. Once I actually turned around and headed back across the border to fill up because of the difference in price (hint: if (...) (25 years ago, 24-Aug-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: lego sweeper

Apparently, its set #1666. I did not know the number, but I did get one in a bulk purchase of Legos. Since I rarely let my Lego touch the floor, I don't have much use for it... Oh, and it did work when I tried it out! It didn't seem to scratch up (...) (25 years ago, 24-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: When should an auction end...

I think if you root around in this very group you'll find a post or two from Todd on the topic of bid frequency which I think seems to suggest that the most bidding traffic happens on Tuesdays based on his analysis of some of the auctions he ran.   Re: Set #1601 "Schmidt & Co"

I saw a set #1601 for sale a while back. At the time, I wondered about it, and asked for info on RTL - and got one reply - I made a post asking for pictures of it, but nobody replied. I do appreciate your post of the description - thanks! Would it (...) (25 years ago, 24-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  Baseball mini-figs?

A friend of mine went to a baseball game in Boston (MA) recently, where they were apparantly giving away Red Sox minifigs. He didn't want it so he gave it to me. Has anyone heard about this going on anywhere else? Is this a promotion with (...) (25 years ago, 24-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)
