Hey, sometimes it works out OK. I had held high bid on one particular set of pieces for a good length of time, and then as I was checking just before it closed someone had outbid me, but fortunately I was able to get my bid in with something like 19 (...) (25 years ago, 23-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad)

I'm sure there are a lot of nuances that went into this decision. The Danish company was only into its' 8th year of exporting it's product when it entered the US market. I can understand Marks perspective, and I can understand why he would like it all to go to Australia ..... (to replentish the old Lego supply that those not too smart LEGO Australia folks destroyed). Larry, Jeff, and other dear friends, Hopefully, me, my wife and my parents are all OK. Even my wife's parents are OK (by miracle), they were living in Degirmendere, which is the almost exact centre of the quake). I returned back to home from the (...) (25 years ago, 23-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)
