  Re: NXT Firmware source code

(...) My understanding is that the source is version 1.04. John Hansen (19 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Re: NXT Firmware source code

(...) If this limitation had applied to the rcx, I'd have suggested this. Because you can control the outputs and read the inputs direct from a pc you could run an emulation of the rcx firmware running your program on the pc. The rcx would then (...)   Re: How to control NXT motor's rotation by using LabView NXT Direct Commands?

(...) The "motor unlimited" is designed to set the motor to run an unlimited distance. It's just a "turn motor on" type block. I think you want the "Motor Degrees" block, or something like that, don't you? (sorry, I don't have access to LV right (...) (19 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: First SNOT spheres, now SNOT bunnies?

(...) I sure did!!! Outstanding... Three things I found: - LSculpt seem to prefer "Unix" style PLY (with only CR at the end of text file instead of CR/LF Windows style). I had to convert Stanford bunny (bun_zipper.ply) to be able to use it. - After (...) (19 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.cad)

Re: Almost Holonomic Drive Built With The NXT

(...) Ah, now that is sweet. I hate that I missed that. It is very similar to the smaller RCX rama version below. (...) Hehe, I guess that qualifies it as a walker. Rich (19 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Edo Castle

Those trees are brilliant! The colour and design both work so well, good work! I've never been a fan of japanese castles so I can't comment fairly on the rest, but the overall effect is good. Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan (URL) (19 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: AFOL Wife Swap?

Hey Steve, Good luck with your shot at participating in this. I am concerned that they can cut and paste clips together to tell whatever story they want to. I also think that they go out of their way to put together the least compatible people (...) (19 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.people, lugnet.org.us.wamalug)

Re: Unlikely Society -- Chapter 3

Getting closer to the feel of the old ones (which I enjoyed!) though I would still like to see the old unlikely society re-emerge... Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan (URL) (19 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  What's the difference?

Between a splitter and a range change on a truck gearbox? I know what the difference is functionally, what I want to know is the mechanical difference. I've tried Google without much luck. Thanks. Steve (19 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Just as soon as I come up with a project plan, a risk management plan, a compliance plan and a cultural change plan for the journey, I'll implement it and be there. Expect me in December 2020. The sad part about the whole thing is that if I (...) (19 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Almost Holonomic Drive Built With The NXT

(...) Yes, Steve Hasseplug: (URL) (...) You may use RCX motors with conversion cables. But rotation sensors help to coordinates motors to drive precisely in any direction. I love your toe-like "wheels" ;o) Philo (19 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.robotics)
