Re: Shop at Home Shipping Rates

(...) Yes, I remember that now, but it was quite a while ago. For the past few years they've sold at regular retail with the flat shipping rate. (...) A very valid point, but I'm not referring to retail outfits like Walmart, TRU, Target, etc. I'm (...) (19 years ago, 12-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Smallest possible SNOT cube?

(...) I also came up with this cube and I am quite positively sure that a lot of schleimers out there also came up with this... However, I normally build this one using four (URL) part number 4733> so every face of the cube is connected to the core (...) (19 years ago, 12-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: Shop at Home Shipping Rates

(...) Back when S@H's shipping setup was more advantageous (ie, lower), their prices were higher -- like 10% over retail, I think. I don't order a lot on S@H, so I could be mis-remembering. Also, remember -- there are different costs for selling (...) (19 years ago, 12-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: NXT Firmware source code

(...) I am curious; have you ever had a situation where bad firmware locked up the NXT? And if so, what was the process to restore it to working order? (I don't have a bricked brick, I'm just asking for future reference.) (19 years ago, 12-Dec-06, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

Re: Shop at Home Shipping Rates

(...) It depends on what you compare it to. Even at 5% of my total order, it's generally cheaper for me than if I had to drive to the "local" LEGO brand store (3 hours in one direction), or the "local" Toys R Us (2 hours). After a few tanks of fuel, (...) (19 years ago, 12-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(19 years ago, 12-Dec-06, to lugnet.org.it.itlug, FTX)

  Shop at Home Shipping Rates

Now that the free shipping is over at LSAH, I find myself again very distressed about their shipping rates. Remember when we could buy all we wanted for a flat maximum rate...I think it was like $10 or $15? This new 5% of the order total prevents me (...)   RE: NXT Firmware source code

(...) I've downloaded firmware to NXT 100s of times with no apparent ill effect. (19 years ago, 12-Dec-06, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Re: NXT Firmware source code

(...) Flash memories all have a limited number of write cycles before they become unreliable. Usually, the on-chip write controller will "load-balance" the writes so that different memory locations all get used the same number of times, (...) (19 years ago, 12-Dec-06, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)
