  Re: Miniland scale Napoléon

(...) Hi Didier, I just wanted to post a quick note about your great model. It's nice to hear that ULBG provided some ideas. But I think it's obvious that you've used a lot of your own skill and imagination to create a really unique character. It's (...) (19 years ago, 24-Nov-06, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Brislug meeting, anyone?

Well, it looks like pretty much everyone will be coming. Should be a good day. One thing I should probably note: I have a reasonable quantity of the old 9V track, so if anyone wants to run any trains you're welcome to use it. I have a small request. (...)   Re: Cleaning My Brickshelf Gallery

(...) Hey Rene, Thanks for your comments (and sorry for my late reply). Many of the removed MOCs will still appear in the backgrounds of layouts, so for now I'm determined to carry on...   parts for german old toy "plasticant"

When I was a child I played with Lego Bricks and also with the building toy plasticant. Last days my son found the last pieces that I have and my idea was to bring that into LDraw parts. You can found the parts that I already made on my webside (...) (19 years ago, 23-Nov-06, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Extreme NXT: Extending the LEGO Mindstorms NXT to the Next Level

Hi, Sorry I'm quite unused with lugnet.robotics groups and I don't know if this has been announced yet. (URL) Philo, Michael and Isabelle (philo's delightful daughter) authored a book about NXT !! Didier (19 years ago, 23-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics.nxt, lugnet.books)

(...) Hi Nathan, AFAIK, the painting is in Versailles, France - Let's have a visit :-) (...) thank you (...) Napoléon was "only" 1m67 tall (about 5'6") - I guess Miniland scale is enough for him ;-) Didier (...) (19 years ago, 23-Nov-06, to lugnet.build, lugnet.fun, FTX)

  Re: Miniland scale Napoléon

(...) Just a print ; ) Seriously, a nice Napoleon. I think he may have preferred a larger model however. God Bless, Nathan Visit my brickshelf gallery: (URL) (pic=link) (19 years ago, 23-Nov-06, to lugnet.build, lugnet.fun, FTX)

  Re: Has Babylon Fallen?

(...) Hmm, we should probably check my math. I think at the time I was having trouble finding inexpensive 3-foot electrical cables to chop in half, but I think $80 would pay for materials for more sensors than I usually bring to a train show. (...) (19 years ago, 23-Nov-06, to lugnet.trains)

(...) [...] (...) Con NXT, io sto costruendo il robot, e, forse, sara' pronto per tempo. Ne approfitto per stendere le mie impressioni sul NXT, anche per avere un confronto con gli altri possessori.   Re: Has Babylon Fallen?

(...) Yeah, I almost took you up on the offer. When I designed a trolley line, I thought wouldn't it be cool if the trolley crosses the main line I realize that I'd need reed switches. Then I realized that even at your cost I need $80 worth of (...) (19 years ago, 23-Nov-06, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Has Babylon Fallen?

(...) The (URL) reed switch sensors> are a bit tricky. There's not much room to work with, so you've gotta use pretty small switches. And they are very easy to break, basically being tiny glass tubes. (About half of my sensors no longer work.) For (...) (19 years ago, 23-Nov-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Has Babylon Fallen?

(...) Oh yeah! I remember seeing those at a show before I joined NELUG. I went out that day and bought some reed switches. The next day I spent a few hours burning my fingers and melting the things together. I never did get them to work properly. (...) (19 years ago, 23-Nov-06, to lugnet.trains)
