Just wanted to give everyone a big heads up and let you guys know that the pick-a- brick selection at Tyson's corner will be INSANE!!! For those of you not aware of it yet, the Tyson's store will be open Thursday night from 9:30 - 11p.m. just for (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: Got any cow catcher ideas?

oh yeah... NO ONE bit on the Bionicle elements. That's one of my only hopes for bionicle, is that there one day there might be a good train greeble or cow catcher element. :) SteveB (20 years ago, 18-Aug-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Got any cow catcher ideas?

WOW, Thanks everyone!!! They are all great ideas and very inspiring! I think I'll try something with robot arms and/or droid arms and flex tubing. (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Welcome To The 25th Century

(...) **snip** (...) That's terrific! I always wanted to build one when I was young, but I never had the right pieces. A clunky spaceblob built of white 2x4 bricks seemed to miss the exact flavor. You could probably even cobble together a Princess (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Great Ball Contraption at BrickFest '06

(...) I found this out. I bought five boxes of Zamors (50 balls) that were going cheap when the LEGO store in Kingston, UK, was closing down. Unfortunately, they're too big to go through something like the 2x2 shaft of a ball pump. I had to buy some (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  My soopercomputer sucks.

Chris always laments his Soopercomputer has the early P4 which sucks. Well, I got the last generation P4 two years ago which REALLY sucks. I didn't realize JUST how bad it was until I actually read up on the famed Prescott NetBurst family: "Upon (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: BrickFest 2006 Venue visit

(...) HEY!!! I resemble that remark!... Wait a minute... yes, I will give you the chatting... the laughing, and the lighter... but the falling down... is highly unlikely, and the getting back up, totally preposterous.   Welcome To The 25th Century

What happens when the United States last manned deep space probe is frozen by "powers beyond all comprehension"? Obviously it will return to earth 500 years later, providing the female population of outer space the opportunity to see how a real man (...)   Re: BrickFest 2006 Venue visit

(...) Or you could get Jason to dig into his Clickit Collection and build you one. With enough interchangable arts, it could be made to match anything deborah's shoe collection in the van.   Re: TTT - Question

(...) I guess one option would be if no play is seen (rescan the board if desired) just signal your end of turn again without playing.... -Rob A> (20 years ago, 18-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: TTT - Question

(...) Just a thought. I suggest you robot search the board, and if it doen't find the move either (A) search again or (B) return "home" and wait (again) for the opponent to play. For the C$ event, I had my robot keep scanning the board, because (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: TTT - Question

(...) OK - That was my thinking too, but I didn't want to suggest it up front and potentially bias others. I was concerned that my bot would have to deal with getting a handshake, then NOT finding a mark on the board.... -Rob A> (20 years ago, 18-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
