Thanks for the description of the area. What about bars and restaurants, is
there something (like IHOP) open 24 hrs in the area?
|
|
Because apparently SOME canucks dont sleep! (Not mentions any names, mine
included!)
|
Im not sure whats available in the hotel lobby, but there are a few 24-hour
places open within a 5-15 minute drive (Amphora Diner, IHOP, etc.)
|
|
There are bars around, but none very walkable to the Sheraton - again, Im
not sure whats in the lobby - but I suggest an old favorite, the Bathtub
full o Beer (in the original container, not trough-style - youll avoid
little hairs in your drink this way).
|
Well as fun as a bathtub full o beer sounds... and it truly does sound fun,
again SOME canucks, (again, not mentioning names) tend to be a bit... errrrr
LOUD, and I am sure partying in the rooms, (although giving one a nice fast
place to crash)... well, could result in other paying guests not being to
pleased with the noise level. Would suck to get thrown out of your room on
Thursday night. (Jude this is NOT a challenge.)
Also, one of the main reasons I attend events such as BrickFest is to hang out
and chat/laugh/shoot the ... errr breeze with as many builders as possible. Room
parties, although interesting, tend to be smaller sub groups (either by theme,
interests, locality, etc), which makes you miss out on a lot of the fun.

a scant 0.9 mile stroll down Route 7. They offer darts and
individually-wrapped toothpicks.
