Thanks for the description of the area. What about bars and restaurants, is
there something (like IHOP) open 24 hrs in the area?
|
Im not sure whats available in the hotel lobby, but there are a few 24-hour
places open within a 5-15 minute drive (Amphora Diner, IHOP, etc.)
There are bars around, but none very walkable to the Sheraton - again, Im
not sure whats in the lobby - but I suggest an old favorite, the Bathtub
full o Beer (in the original container, not trough-style - youll avoid
little hairs in your drink this way).
Mr.Smiths is probably the closest bar thats guaranteed to be open til 2am,
a scant 0.9 mile stroll down Route 7. They offer darts and
individually-wrapped toothpicks.

Hey Jude,
Ive been refraining from replies on this particular aspect because I am not a
local, not to mention getting things put in place. I dine out at Tysons Corner
when I am in town.
Well have some info in your registration when you come in. The hotel shuttle
goes to retaurants and bars until 10 pm. The hotel bar closes at 11, but the
prices are business-class - a little high.
