Re: Gary Istok - Rare First USA (1961) & First Canada (1962) Catalogs

Forgot to mention a couple of things.... They were the very first Lego catalogs produced for outside of Europe. And my EMAIL address is: istokg@earthlink.net Cheers, Gary Istok (20 years ago, 26-Jul-06, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Gary Istok - Rare First USA (1961) & First Canada (1962) Catalogs

I have been cleaning out my Lego closet, and came up with a pair of rare Lego catalogs I am putting up for sale. They are: 1) The very first USA Lego catalog, the 1961 Samsonite catalog, in MINT condition. It has a glossy (shiny) finish, with (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jul-06, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Lego Vs. Superglue . . . Help me get unstuck, please!!!

Josh, I too think you may be in luck. Most parents don't even let their kids use superglue, because it will bond 2 fingers together as well (without melting them of course!). There are safety warnings on the glue container, so parents should keep it (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jul-06, to lugnet.general)

(...) Delphi 2005 (9) is part of Borland Developer Studio (BDS) 2005. It also contains C# Builder and Delphi for .net compilers. But I mainly use Delphi for win 32 development. Since BDS 2006 C++ Builder is also included in the suite. But I decided (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jul-06, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Hmmmm. Interesting . . . Then maybe he didn't use superglue, because I definately see some residue on some of the loose bricks I was able to pry apart. The glue is clear, completely translucent, but on some of the brick i peeled apart, I can see the (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jul-06, to lugnet.general)

(...) Is Delphi 2005 Delphi (Pascal) only? I've got BDS2006 at work and that contains both Delphi and C++ and C#. Going .NET would make it easy (?) to use a C++ library from Delphi, I think. (20 years ago, 26-Jul-06, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) I buy all of my Lego parts on www.bricklink.com. I haven't bought an actual Lego set in years. I just order the parts in the quantities and colors that I need, so I don't accumulate a large inventory of un-used or un-needed parts. Ryan (20 years ago, 26-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)
