  Re: Construction Yard

(...) Swissbagger (Beat Schuler) will most likely bring his MAN tipper truck and the Kaiser S2 climbing excavator presented here on Lugnet some time ago. (Can still be found in the sidebar). Maybe another creation in the same scale as well. But I (...) (20 years ago, 13-Jul-06, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic)

  Re: The brig Seatop

(...) That is a really nice looking ship. I like the slanted cabin in the back, it was an effect I had tried to do on my ship originally but lacked the pieces (or at least the patience to find the pieces) for it. The colors flow well also, I haven't (...) (20 years ago, 13-Jul-06, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

  Re: TLGs wasteful box sizes?

(...) At least in the case of PC's the dead space can be justified for air flow and cooling. When I received the red technic pneumatic studless truck ((URL) there were two boxes, one for the truck, one for the back end, with some dead space because (...)   Questions about doing a museum show

I'm looking to pick the brains of clubs who have done longer duration shows, especially at a museum. NovaLUG (Nova Scotia, Canada) has been approached by a museum, but the longest show we have done before was one day setup and two day display. In (...)   Re: vendo

Gabriele -- (...) (20 years ago, 13-Jul-06, to lugnet.org.it.itlug.market, FTX)

  Re: TLGs wasteful box sizes?

(...) You're right, the boxes are definitely way too big for their contents. But in addition to the billboard qualities of a large box, they also help justify the price. It would probably be harder to convince parents to shell out $30 bucks for a (...) (20 years ago, 13-Jul-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

  Re: TLGs wasteful box sizes?

LEGO's standard policy is that the main model on the cover of the box is shown life-sized. (At least that was the policy when I worked at the Imagination Center at the Mall of America.) If LEGO goes to a smaller box size, people will need to know (...) (20 years ago, 13-Jul-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

I think that $25,000 should inspire someone to write a basic compiler that spits out NXT Byte code. You could even get by if the compiler was written based using a non-enterprise version of basic. Lamar A retired system programmer/analyst "Chris (...) (20 years ago, 11-Jul-06, to lugnet.robotics)
