LEGO's standard policy is that the main model on the cover of the box is shown
life-sized.  (At least that was the policy when I worked at the Imagination
Center at the Mall of America.)

If LEGO goes to a smaller box size, people will need to know just how big the
finished set is going to be.

If we keep asking for bigger sets and smaller boxes, something has to change.
